On a warm and sunny October day in 2011, Head coach Trey Hoover and the rest of his coaching staff held an open tryout at Guy K. Traylor stadium...

Many familiar faces appeared - a majority of the 2011 GCFA Championship team came back to defend their title.

What was apparent from that first day though was that this was going to be a different year. A large number of people came to the open tryout for a chance to show the coaching staff that they had what it took to compete on a championship caliber team...

That group of players came from all different walks of life: semi-pro veterans who played for different teams in previous years, to those who just wanted a shot to play the sport they love after leaving it behind in high school or college. The intensity of the tryouts no doubt set the tone for the coming season.

Every player who came out gave it their all, and although it was difficult for the staff to say who got the chance and who did not, the team is pleased to announce that the 2012 Fort Bend Storm roster has been finalized.

In the coming weeks the webmaster staff will be working to collect more information from the players, so that a comprehensive roster and player profile can be created including a profile picture, height, weight, and previous experience.
