On a warm and sunny October day in 2011, Head coach Trey Hoover and the rest of his coaching staff held an open tryout at Guy K. Traylor stadium. Many familiar faces appeared - a majority of the 2011 GCFA Championship team came back to defend their title.
What was apparent from that first day though was that this was going to be a different year. A large number of people came to the open tryout for a chance to show the coaching staff that they had what it took to compete on a championship caliber team...
